36.inch light fixture for a 48 inch tank | |
tetratech Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 4241 Kudos: 1074 Registered: 04-Nov-2003 | Don't know if anyone has every done this, but I have a 36inch light fixture that I might want to use on a 48 inch tank. It will be on a planted tank and will give me 2.7 wpg. Although it won't reach the corners I'm not really considered because I don't plant in the corners anyway. Does anyone have any ideas on how I cut rig this up. It's a current usa fixture that right now sits a few inches above the tank on brackets attached to the tank edge. My first thought is to get a custom glass top with an opening in the middle on afix the brackets to the opening. My Scapes |

That would be a lot cheaper, anyway. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |
