Ok does anyone have a Aqua One canister? pricewise compared to Fluvals they are dead cheap! whats your opinions on quality? my Fluval 304 filters my water well and so far no probs. its extremely quiet. But i could have got a Aqua One for 1/2 the price DOH! so im thinking for my next tank, getting a Aqua One? any remarks about them

I dont have either I have Eheims I know they are the dearest to buy but they have the quality. What I am trying to say is the less the price usually means less quality or back up.

Some of the cheaper brands are nothing but cheap copies of Eheims

If you want something cheap that works Ok, get the Fluval.. if you want something that works without problems, it might be an eheim Pro II.

I've had problems with my fluval so I don't recommed it to people who is willing to spend more $$$ in favour of a no-hassle life with their filters.

Fluvals can have hassels. Mine for instance has weak clamps. But that is due to me picking my canister up by the clamps and not due to the design.

But i believe they are of better quality than the Aqua Ones. Mine wasn't that much more expensive than the Aqua One equivilent. Try some of the online stores in australia. I found my Fluval 404 at like 50% the price it was in my LFS.

Oh and here is a list of online aquarium stores you can look at.
