Bought myself an Eheim Classic. What should i expect? | |
Azn_Devil Big Fish Posts: 366 Kudos: 310 Votes: 5 Registered: 30-Apr-2004 | Some people might remember the other thread i started a few weeks ago asking about Fluval canisters. PEople told me to get the Eheim but i didnt know if i wanted to spend that much money, but since Big Als dropped the shipping prices until Feb 15th, i decided to spend a few extra dollars and i ordered an Eheim Classic 2213. It shipped out today, but i have no clue when it is arriving because UPS doesnt actually have the package yet. So im wondering, what should i expect from the filter? How should i setup the media (i bought an extra pack of 3 coarse pads)? Are there any problems that i will most likely run into? Thanks in advance for any help given. |

If you do have any problems ask then and give any details of your concern. I know with my large Eheim there was a few extra bits that could be used for other connections. If it is not in the book post a photo of it if you can. keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | It is for the tube as a anti kinking. The hose provided should push into it rather than through it. steven keyes Hobbyist Posts: 62 Kudos: 54 Votes: 1 Registered: 05-Oct-2004 | that is to for keeping the hose from kinking you just slip it over the hose you would use is anywhere your hose is bent at or near 90 deg. |
