	Broken Penguin Mini
IhAvEsOmEfIsH Hobbyist Posts: 145 Kudos: 95 Votes: 2 Registered: 13-Aug-2004	My dad found a penguin mini in the trash near his house and we plugged it in to his tank and it was working fine for about 15 min then it just stoped. The motor, everything just stopped running. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened?

I have gotten some trashing filters and have made them run like new just from makeing sure all the parts are clean. If not then there is probably a short w/ the motor you can buy a new one but it would be cheaper to send it to me or to buy a new one ==fish1

Broken fins, abnormal scoring on the magnet and wear on the impeller shaft are all signs that it needs to be replaced. Very very very rarely do the energizers ever go on those filters, there is only one moving part, and that's what busts 99.9% of the time.
