start with the base and build around it, not on top of it.

I've not ever had to rebuild from panels, only replace bits or reseal, so i have no idea how you get all 4 sides upright

Hi,
Personally, I like the idea of building your own especially
the "big water" tanks (tanks over 100G). You would
probably need help from a friend or two to move things
around and turn stuff over as the assembly progressed,
however the satisfaction of being able to say "I built it
myself" would be terrific.

Check out this link:
[link=http://www.garf.org/tank/buildtank.asp]http://www.garf.org/tank/buildtank.asp" style="COLOR: #FF00FF[/link]

All you have to do is type in the dimensions for the
new tank, and hit the <enter> key. It will give you
a complete list of materials necessary, AND step by
step instructions on how to build it, AND the stand.

Good Luck!

Frank

I have buit one Glass Only but I Use It For an Iguana.

Still I left it a couple of days filled with water.

The terrarium cost-me considerably less then if I would have bought one

And You have the fullfilment of DIY.

If You're interessed I can tell you about my plans for my next Project.
