Hooktor Fish Addict Posts: 646 Kudos: 651 Votes: 67 Registered: 22-Mar-2004 | Is this a better filter than my current aquaclear? I heard canisters are really great and this one is pretty inexpensive. http://thatpetplace.com/Products/KW/F22/Class/Fish+Supplies+Canister+Filters/T1/F22+0171+0698/EDP/20520/Itemdy00.aspx Or is this better? http://thatpetplace.com/Products/KW/F22/Class/Fish+Supplies+Canister+Filters/T1/F22+0221+0190/EDP/11631/Itemdy00.aspx Last edited by Hooktor at 21-Mar-2005 18:52 |

You have made two statements here. First "I heard canisters are really great" Yes they certainly are for many reasons. Secondly "this one is pretty inexpensive" Before you do any thing just think why is it "Inexpensive" another word for cheap? Possibly poor quality, no back up, and just a poor quality pump. Stick to the well known and trusted brand name who have quality and standing in the field of filters. I personally would not buy either I would be looking for a suitable Eheim. What size tank do you have? Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? VOTE NOW VOTE NOW |

Gibson SG you know you want one!! |
