Canister Specifics: Height | |
livebait Enthusiast Posts: 211 Kudos: 242 Votes: 76 Registered: 25-May-2004 | Is there a minimum-maximum height distance: from where the canister sits on the floor to the top of the tank. I'll be upgrading to a taller tank and was wondering if I should elevate my canister. |

Mainly the further the canister away from the outlet the harder the pump must work. I have a 5ft tank and the canister is next to the tank with the top of the canister level with the ba Also I think you will loose some preasure if it is too far away from the outlet as well. Then I looked on the box and it reads: Delivery head m wat. col. 1,80 (5'10" ft. wc) Is this the max distance? |
