Here is my set-up, it is the Nutrafin CO2 kit from Hagen, it is a ready made DIY set-up, easy to install and not very expensive.
This shows the canister and the CO2 line and how it attaches to the tank.[link]http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c56/luvmypetz/Tanktopwithnohood.jpg [/link]

This shows how the CO2 is diffused

I got the kit on sale, $24.99 CDN, it is usually $40 CDN. It will do a 20 gallon tank for about 1 month then you have to restart the CO2 reaction. I am using it to figure out how exactly to do a DIY CO2 then I may move it to my smaller tank.

I should add I got it at SuperPet, but it can be found at almost any pet/fish store, Big Al's sells them on-line as well.

ku5626,

Can you describe the tank for which you would like to add CO2, like:

-Size
-Plants
-Light
-Substrate

ku5626,

And what kind of Light do you have?

And wouldn't these two bulbs eventually be too big for a 6G tank?
