So, I'm trying to build my own aquarium. I've done all the reading online about the structure and what not.

My problem is this: I can't find anything to coat the wood with. I've read all the suggestions and so far all of the 2 part epoxy paint is too expensive and I'm afraid that epoxy/fiberglass resin will eventually crack, especially if the tank were to flex at all.

Anyone have any suggestions/experience/wisdom to impart upon me?

Thanks Frank!... That helped out a bunch. The site recommended two options, I have yet to try them, but they are different than anything I've read about so far and sound like they will work!

Hi,
Glad I could help. Don't forget the pictures!
If you decide to build, this forum/thread could be a good
log for you to post the pictorial process.
