I was maybe thinking of building my own tank..lets say a 400L.Is it really so difficult to build it?..i have heard that its not so difficult, but the most important is to make it not to leak and to have the correct glass thickness. What do i need to make a 400L tank? Anybody here who has done it?

It's hard enough to need a fair bit of training to do... You need special clamps to hold the glass in place while it drys and you also need to make sure everything is exact which can be much harder then it seems...
A 400L tank is going to cost you about $200-300, if you build it, it might cost $125-175 for the proper glass and then your time on top of that... And then much more if it pops and floods your house which is a very real possibility...

If you want the plastic trim, it may be hard to find. I know I can't find it where I live.
