You should do some searching online about working with craft resins, see if you like the medium, and then possibly work on trying your hand at tank decor. It is not necessarily a cheap hobby, though. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

I know also there are ceramic tank ornaments, and rock aggregate(sp?) ornaments, and apparently terracota clay is safe once fired. |

It's popular with model makers, prop makers, sculptors, and various craftspeople. As for the other mediums, ceramic is an excellent choice for in-tank use, both terra-cotta or red clay, or white clay. You can even glaze it and it will still be safe as long as it's completely fired. Rock aggregate is just crushed marble made into a kind of cement, and when cured properly, would be as safe as any rock. There are some tutorials online that I've seen about making DIY background or caves by carving a styrofoam ba Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |
