Has anyone tried the new Eheim Pro 3 filter, i have just seen one in a new lfs that has just opened up near me and it comes in a monster of a box,It appears to have 2 inlets and 1 outlet.

That is not a filter it is a monster and I bet the cost is as well do you know that? I will check my Eheim Supplier this week and compare prices.

Keith this filter is available here in dear old blighty for about £189 with no media and £229 with media.Thats $A434 to $A526. I am guessing that as it has two inlets i could get rid of both of my 2028's should they ever fail and replace it with just this one.

Just a quick price check at a local Eheim distributer Pro11 A$486, Pro3 about the A$900.

We have a very costly import duty plus some LFS have a high mark up.
I think that Eheim could nearly filter a small swimming pool. Jokes aside it could possibly used to connect up several tanks or connedt the Eheim reverse UGF now that would be a filtration to dream about.
