Filter Gph question | |
beetledance Hobbyist Posts: 54 Kudos: 21 Votes: 6 Registered: 26-Feb-2006 | I am looking at a new AQ filter to replace the sucky whisper on my 10gal. The AQ 50 (200 gph) is actually a couple bucks cheaper than the AQ 30(150 gph). I like the idea of possibly being able to use the filter on a bigger future tank. But would either of these totally blow my fish out of the water? Thanks. |

In a freshwater tank, I tend to use the next higher filter, but I wouldn't use a 30 or 50. I'd just use the 20. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |

With my 11g Betta tank I went to the next size up with my internal Eheim and it works very well. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
