Glass thickness - what is standard thickness? | |
jappy Enthusiast Posts: 158 Kudos: 185 Votes: 8 Registered: 16-Nov-2003 | Gosh - haven't posted here in more than 7 months... good to be back I'm thinking about getting a bigger tank and was wondering what was standard thickness for glass.. The tanks I am looking at are 3 foot or 4 foot tanks, and so far the glass thicknesses are 5-6mm. I'm really really scared about tanks bursting, so I'd rather be safe than sorry. |

Beware of the elcheapos and there are plenty they can use cheap second grade glass. sham That is certainly a helpful site.
