Hi,

Can someone tell me how to open a 1.5" hole on the side of a flowerpot of 4" diameter? I tried and broke two of them already

Use a masonary drill 1/4" or less. Drill a series of holes until the piece falls out, then use an half round rough then fine file to get it smooth also dont forget to take the sharp edges off. To hold it firm while drilling make a bed for it in deep sand.

Ricky

If the pot is old this will cause them to crack very easy.

What you can do is soak it for a few days before you drill the holes. Drill at a low speed slowly do not push the drill. Make sure it is a sharp drill or buy a new one.
