I just looked at my 125g when I did a water change and the tank isn't level. Its 1/8" difference between the two ends. Is this going to be alright this really is going to bug me and its going to suck if I have to change any thing.

The dresser that my 29g is on used to be like that too...'bout 1/8" difference...

This is the 2nd 29g I've had on that dresser. The first 29g weakened and started to bow outward. I've got no idea if it was because the tank was older than I was, or if it's because the dresser was tilted.

When I got the new 29g I balanced it out a little bit with little paper shims...it's better, but it ain't perfectly level...

I dunno wat you should do...somebody else might tho

I have a really old house and my tanks all lean, not as bad as on my home made stands(I compensate). My 125 has about 1/2" diff in side to side. As long as the suface is flat and rigid you should have no problems.

If the tank isn't level, the water pressure might be a problem, as it wouldn't be equal.

I am on a thick concrete slab (lousey job) and it slopes down in the corner where the 5ft tank is about 1/4 ins. A very good reason for having a thick styrene base under the tank.

1/8th of an inch won't do anything. My 29g is off an inch, and it's been fine for years and years. Granted it's not textbook, but you have a much smaller difference.
