Level Tank | |
greenmonkey51 Fish Master Posts: 1571 Kudos: 1692 Votes: 5 Registered: 28-Jan-2004 | I just looked at my 125g when I did a water change and the tank isn't level. Its 1/8" difference between the two ends. Is this going to be alright this really is going to bug me and its going to suck if I have to change any thing. |

The first 29g weakened and started to bow outward. I've got no idea if it was because the tank was older than I was, or if it's because the dresser was tilted. When I got the new 29g I balanced it out a little bit with little paper shims...it's better, but it ain't perfectly level... I dunno wat you should do...somebody else might tho |

stallion81 Big Fish Posts: 327 Kudos: 255 Votes: 143 Registered: 17-Jan-2004 | I have a really old house and my tanks all lean, not as bad as on my home made stands(I compensate). My 125 has about 1/2" diff in side to side. As long as the suface is flat and rigid you should have no problems. |
