![]() | LightStrip Length? |
sly![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Big Fish Posts: 377 Kudos: 251 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Jun-2004 ![]() ![]() | Should the length of the lightstrip be equal to the length of the tank? I have a 36" inch tank with 30" lightstrip. I was wondering, since its planted, would it have been better to have a 36" lightstrip. Also, say I wanted to get a 48" tank with compact flourescent lighting, would a 48" lightstrip be better? |

Ther are large caves at each end. Light does not go 90degrees straight down it soes fan out a bit. I hope this is a help. A bit of room is usually needed on the ends for wiring and ventilation. I've got 2 36 inch lights in a 7.5 foot tank. They provide very even lighting despite a gap in the middle and on either end. ![]() |

Gibson SG you know you want one!! |
