Do you have a single or double tube unit.
If single you cannot go past Sera they are a bit dearer but worth all the money
I have two Sera's one plant & one daylight. Life expectancy of two years then change.

Get yourself down to your local hardware shop (Bunnings is great!) and grab a NEC tube in the 6500 - 10000 K rating. You want a "daylight" tube. You will save heaps, the plants love it, and since it's a "daylight" tube - it also looks great.

I use these tubes on my planted 3ft tank, no complaints. After using the more expensive tubes, I switched to these and haven't looked back since
