What is the 'micron' number mean? I'm shopping at BigAl's online and both a 250 and 800 micron are available without a big difference in cost. The media bag should be large enough to allow water to flow through it, but at the same time you would not want the very fine powder to get loose in the tank where it could clog the tank's filter or create "muddy water." Here is a site that may help: http://www.calculateme.com/Length/Microns/ToInches.htm Depending on your filter system, you may want to go with the smaller mesh and place it in the "input" side of the filter.
