poisonwaffle Mega Fish Posts: 1397 Kudos: 591 Registered: 11-Feb-2003 | I know that Anthony Calfo has run PVC around the perimeter of the top of the tank, drilled holes in it that connect to nozzles, and then hooked the whole deal up to the return pumps on his sump. I'm sure you could do something similar just by drilling holes in the bottom of the PVC... just make sure you've got enough holes that they don't put backpressure on the pump (it'll make noise and screw up your pump). Don't make the holes too big either, or fish might get in them if the power goes out, and that would be nasty when it came back on Have fun |

I'd say if you were doing a 500gph powerhead, put a 1/4" hole every 1.5" or so... I think that would be enough for something like that... You might have to do some experimenting... just remember that having too many holes is better than not having enough holes |
