Reactor question | |

Well I found one on aquabid...not sure if it would be good or not. I'm on a tight budget, so spending $50 on a reactor is not something I want to do. I know the phrase "You get what you pay for", but what about this reactor? I guess you can't really tell how it will work unless you actually try it. But does anyone have any comments on it? Here's the link to it. edit: I assume I will need a powerhead. Am I right? |

Mounted vertically under the tank in the cabinet, you can connect the output of your canister filter to the top connection and then plumb the lower connection, the output, to the top of your tank as the filter return. If you are not using a canister, then Yes, you would need some sort of pump and filter to power it. If you are using a power head, you would want a sponge filter on the pump input else the small holes in the reactor would eventually become clogged.
