I have several Rena air pumps never a problem. The only problem it is very hard to get any spares in Aust.

They are extremly effective and extremly silent opperating.

OK, I'll back that up. I have a few of the rena air pumps. LOVE them quiet operation. I have to look to see if they're even on. very non-problematic
