Reverse Ugf And Canister | |
jproc Fingerling Posts: 16 Kudos: 7 Votes: 1 Registered: 15-Jul-2006 | Hi, I'm running an Ehein 2213 in a 55g fresh setup. The tank is empty and I was thinking of adding an ugf and hooking it up to the output of the can. Do I need more power than just the can? I was thinking of this setup to minimize gravel vacuuming. The input of the can will be a normal ehieim filter intake. Also, should I tee it off and use the above water line output as well? Thanks |

I do not know if the 2213 will have the capacity to do both. I might do both but neither are working to their full potential. I also think you will have to do a gravel Vac on the surface of the substrate at least. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
