Sera 550 R - manual or help? | |
Callatya Moderator The girl's got crabs! Posts: 9662 Kudos: 5261 Registered: 16-Sep-2001 | The diaphragm/s are blown and I have no idea how to get it open to find out how many and what type they are. I have the screws out of the bottom, the nut from the dial off the top, and I have two of the 4 outlets loosened - it will not crack open. What am I doing wrong? |

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. There are two little pins, but thankfully no clips The problem was that the dust filter underneath was clogged to the point that it was causing a vacuum! Again, no diagrams of how to change or clean that, though thankfully removing the housing was straightforward (with a very long lever and the attitude of "break it if you have to, it is no good to me if it doesn't work anyhow". Turned out that one of the wires on the air volume control dial had come loose (not pushed through fully when soldered) so it was running on half-power, which I reckon is pretty impressive. It must have knocked loose in one of the house moves. So yahoo! We have air! |
