I imagine this will be less of a problem as they grow a bit more, but in the meantime, what could I do to make it more difficult for them to get in there. It's happened a few times, mostly with no long-term effects, but I've actually had one death due to this ![]() |

Or reduce the flow until they get a little bigger. ![]() -Formerly known as the Ferretfish ![]() |

All you will have to do is remove it regually to clean it otherwise your filter might not work to its best. Remember turn the filter off while cleaning/replacing panti hose. Have several made up and it should only take a few minutes to replace rather than remove, wash, then replace. Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's easily taken apart for cleaning. Panty hose and a rubber band, cutting a block of sponge, etc all work, but , for me, this looks a bit better. |

I found them underneath the sponge. I'll try the pantyhose idea and see if that works. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. ![]() |
