brandeeno Mega Fish Posts: 929 Kudos: 636 Registered: 13-Sep-2007 | hi rulookin, to answer your question, no... but if you need to stop a leak or something it is best to tear down the tank. clean and dry it, seal it and then try again... put you fish, plants, gravel and decorations in a large plastic crate or tote... something large enough to hold arround half of the water (mulitiples are ok...) put the filter on the plastic storage device then work on the tank... it can take up to a week to cure the silicone, so work fast on the cleaning, drying and application! you dont want your aquatic friends out of their happy home for too long!
