NowherMan6 Fish Master Posts: 1880 Kudos: 922 Votes: 69 Registered: 21-Jun-2004 | Title speaks for itself... took apart my eheim to do some cleaning, and it damn thing wont restart. It's not filling up with water properly, not priming right. I follow the directions but it doesnt fill up, when I plug it in it sound slike it's running dry. What could be going on here??? The sooner the responses the better, i dont have any other filtration for this tank.... |

I almost gave up, but I was persistent and it finally went up and over and into the cannister. You have to be very vigorous with the moving the handle up and down. Secondly contact Eheim WWW.eheim.com/ and explainn it to them knowing Eheim they will get back to you very quickly. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I only have a fluval 204 system and all l have to do is place the tubes into the canister, lock it in place and release the stop-leak valve and the tank water run right into the canister buy itself. Once thats done give it a few pump tor release the air locks and thats it. |

I didn't realize the filter needed to be pumped several times, I assumed it would start up on the first shot, like the first time I did it. I eventually got it to start up again. I guess I just needed to feel my way around it. But as keith suggested I may shoot an email over to eheim just to be sure. Thanks again |
