Visitherm Heater Clicking?? | |
fish479 Hobbyist Posts: 62 Kudos: 48 Votes: 3 Registered: 21-Dec-2003 | I have a 200 watt visitherm heater in my 45 gal tank, it's maybe 18 months old. Keeps temperature very well but it makes a fairly loud click every time it cycles on and then again when it cycles off. Is it something to be concerned about? I've had several heaters before including visitherms and none have clicked like this one does. Should I replace it to be on the safe side or not worry about it? |

I think it is just a consequence of the element turning on. |

It "could" be on the way out and personally I would buy another one as it will break down just when you don't want it to. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
