Since I have been with FP I dont think I have ever seen a bad report on an Eheim that is more than I can say for some other brands Keith ![]() ![]() keithgh attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/407596.jpg"] Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. It is easier to clean and, more importantly, easier to restart (I cant remember how many times I have treatened to throw the Fluval out the window). I had an older Eheim that never missed a beat in over 20 years. The only reason I replaced it was I dropped it and cracked the head unit and it started leaking. So, although it may cost more, I would highly recommend the Ehiem. Well thats my 2 cents worth. ![]() Its better to be hated for who you are... Than loved for who you are not |

They are great filters but they have their share of problems, cracking issues and sometimes they are a nightmare to restart. I have not tried eheim's but anyway, get an Eheim Pro II and invest your money in fish health, i mean in a canister. |
