OK I broke down and decided to go with a "better filtration" system for my 125...but with me not going with what I know, I'm wondering if I really have enough filtration...Heck even with the UGF that I know, I don't know if it would be enough, I really think it is the size of the tank, that is confusing me, then to add a filtration device I'm not sure about, well I'm confused:%) and I don't have the instruction book

Well folks it is time to say goodby to the Jebo 828!! Jebo/Odyssea has redsigned the look of the old 828 and now they call it the Odyssea CFS 4!! For the most part everything has stayed the same except they made some modifications to the priming unit which is suppose to be a lot more user friendly and of course the hot new look.

I figured it is about 371 gallons/hour...for a 125 gallon tank is this enough? I have another one I bought by mistake that the ]:| store won't take back unless I want store credit, so I still have it...so should I hook it up on the other end of the tank? Should I go back to my UGF that I know and understand? HELP!!! Oh yeh, I am planning on running about 70" of airstones off of pumps to add extra oxygen into the tank...Help me please as I am confused...Heidi

with a 6 foot tank, you're gonna want at least two, not just for superior filtration, but for current and circulation purposes.

Run both of the cannister units for your aquarium. Putting the two units to work will give you a maximum filter turnover of 740 gph or about 6 times an hour for you 125G. I particularly like cannisters because of the high amount of material that you can place in the baskets.

Place bio-rings in the first basket in the water flow followed by a finer product to also culture bacteria. Good examples of these products are Eheim's EfiMech and EfiSubstrat. Set up your spraybars or returns to give yourself good surface water movement. As long as you have good surface movement, you have no need for airstones.
