glue problem | |
jlw2 Small Fry Posts: 3 Kudos: 5 Votes: 3 Registered: 11-Aug-2005 | I was fixing a decorative piece from one of my tanks which had broken while cleaning the tank. Without thinking I used Krazy glue to fix it. What I needed to know is, will this harm the fish at all? I just want to make sure no toxic substances would leach into the water. |

I used some super glue in my tanks without any problems, but i would recommend silicone for aquarium use is much safer. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Once dry, this glue will not harm fish. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

I would be hesitant to buy any generic brand glues myself but name brand krazy glue is absolutely fine. |
