personally, I use the egg crate types of lighting covers for fluorescent ceiling lighting. But, for the price, I don't think it would be the best thing to buy one for just a small 10 gal tank. If you have more tanks that might use them, or you know someone that could use the rest of the egg crate, then it may be for you.

Another thing though, the holes are somewhat large, so if you have very small fish, you may want to go ahead and purchase the ones made for the aquariums.

You can easily make a tank divider from plastic crafter's canvas and plastic binder spines that slip over a report cover.

Cut the plastic canvas to size using scissors then slide the spines onto the edges to provide rigidity. Simply wedge the divider into place or add some suction cups to secure. For permanent installation, silicone the spines to the panes of the tank, let cure, slip canvas into place, refill tank et voila.

Plastic eggcrate works great too, but smaller fish will swim right through - which may be a feature or a flaw, depending upon your desired outcome.

Contact "Heidi" Huston I know Heidi has done it but I am not to sure of the tank size but if my memory serves me correctly this design can be used for many tank sizes it depends on the number of divisions the bigger the tank the more divisons.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

You can use a piece of glass & hold it with 2 suckers on each side.

Plastic canvas works just fine with something to it rigid like the binder ends. Suction cups sometimes come loose, so you will need to check on them every now and then.
