i am planning to build 2 plywood tanks, a 600 by 600 by 1200 mm first and then a 600 by 600 by 2400 mm . has anyone got any tips that could help me? i am using extrior grade form ply for both. this is the link to the plans i will use , just put some dimentions in to get to the destructions -- http://www.garf.org/tank/buildtank.asp

I would strongly suggest marine ply, without going too technical it is far superior, glues used, quality of timber, and jointing methods. Ex trade teacher 26 yrs cabiner making & building trades.

keithgh , i think the same thing about the marine ply but there is none in stock locally and m10 could order it in but , local transport is very dody so if the ply arrives damaged (chipped on sides or corners) and i rufuse to pay for it ,it will seem im too picky. also when the tank is fully sealed it will still be waterproof wont it? also with your know how can you tell me if pondcrete will work on wood. im going to the city toomorrow so im gunna call into a paint place and ask them but honest advice from a tradesman would help .

I have no idea of that product. Find out who makes it and contact them.

As far a delivery you have every right to refuse damaged goods.

I have done this plenty of times in my teaching career.
