If you cant find it at walmart try ordering online from specialty aquarium stores.

Here is one sure way to get the correct product. Have a look at any of the labels on the containers and ring/e/m the makers and ask them. Make sure you explain exactly wht you require and for what purpose. Many will do the job but very few are aquarium safe.

To give you an example many years ago a person rang a maker and asked for a waterproof glue. Never explained the purpose of the job. An answer was given and the person just hung up. It was for extremly large waterfall windows on a new public building. Within days all the glass fell out. Reason the asking person never explained exactly what the job was.

Yeah never buy anything that says it is anti-mold, bacterial or fungal....they'll just end up killing all the fish .

Home depot carries clearly marked "aquarium grade" silicone. They also carry GE silicone which is supposed to also be appropriate, although I seem to remember seeing "not for aquarium use" on it .

Is there a reason this is in aquascaping rather than tech tink? If not it'll be moved for you.

GE has numerous silicone products, many of them (ie all the white ones) are not for aquarium use.

Best bet is to call GE's customer service number if you want to take the gamble, otherwise get the one clearly marked for aquarium use. Check local hardware stores as well.

How much do you need????

They should sell it at a petstore near you, but in tubes that is enough to make a 10 gallon tank and a deco.

Maybe thats just around here but I'd take a look around....

I've used the clear GE Silicone I Windows and Doors. After 2 months, my fish are still alive, so it must be safe.
