Check your water parameters. Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Cloudy eye is usually caused by water quality issues and will clear up when this is tended to.
Could it of possibly knocked its eye against something in the tank?

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Eye Info
This may help you as Lindy stated it is usually a water problem.

It would help if you can get all your peramiters posted. Also more info about your tank size, fish, filtration and water changes percentages also how often. Even your feeding program will help.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Pop- eye has 3 potential causes, water quality being the one most commonly complicit in an occurrance, but also the cause can be bacterial or parasitic. Bacteria combined with initial water quality issues accounts for about 90% of cases, so even when water quality issues are corrected it usually takes a treatment of antibiotic or anti bacterial meds to clear the problem. Meds like Myaxazin are good for this sort of thing.

Eye flukes are a real problem and the spread vigorously, but they are usually visible within the eye, so spotting them isnt difficult. You will of course need an anti parasite med for this, possibly followed by an antibacterial med to help the fish recover until the breach in the eye tissue has a chance to repair itself.

The thing to remember is that even in a clean tank there is usually enough bacteria to infect a scratched or punctured eye. Once the membranes have been breached it is an area that is extremely vulnerable to infection.

In all cases you should respond promptly before sight is lost in the eye.
