Clown Loach vary in colour | |
crusha Enthusiast Fish Geek Posts: 262 Kudos: 183 Votes: 102 Registered: 11-Nov-2005 | I have 3 clown loaches. 1 has very deep colour, by that I mean the black is black whilst the other two are a very much lighter colour - black is very dull. Why would that be? Could one be a male perhaps??? They are all healthy and are very active, eat well etc. |

Sometimes with my CL's some will be dark and some light at feeding times? does it happen then? GFG Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. I have had them for about 8 weeks now, they seem to have become well established. I just thought it was strange to see such a difference in them. |

Also a good variety of foods will help. In My Profile you can see my feeding program this might help. Maybe they feel threatened by another fish or stressed due to lack of space. Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

crusha Enthusiast Fish Geek Posts: 262 Kudos: 183 Votes: 102 Registered: 11-Nov-2005 | They are in a 4ft tank with bristlenose, yoyo loaches, neons, rummynose tetra's, african butterfly fish, ghost knife fish and a silver shark. I feed them a good mixture of flake, sinking shrimp pellets and blood worms, haven't tried zucchini or lettuce (do I have to cook these or can they go in raw?) |
