Hi,
I'm sorry to say, but you are "mixing apples and oranges"
with your variety of fish.
Mollies are a brackish water fish. You must add salt to the
water to where it is nearly as salty as the ocean.
The other fish are freshwater fish and never come in
contact with salt or brakish water. You will need two
tanks for that variety of fish.

Give the mollies their own tank and adjust the water using
non-iodized salt, or better yet, marine aquarium salt, so
the specific gravity is 1.002 - 1.005
http://www.aquariacentral.com/faqs/brackish/FAQ6.shtml
Any LFS that sells saltwater fish will stock
a hygrometer for measuring the specific gravity of a
liquid.

All I can say is I fully back up what Frank has told you to do. In the wild some live bearers have been caught in the ocean far from shore. Also I think they prefer the "Correct" salt for general health and breeding.

That certainly is not the best condition for your Tetras.

If you LFS said they would be OK I suggest you start looking for a better LFS who can help you.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

How about giving results of the water testing you did? How much is the temperature?

Can you give some more detailed information on the sick fish, or is the weird smimming all you got?

Molly's aren't brackish water fish.. they do prefer a small dding of salt to the water, but not at lot. And do do the guppys. They surely can live for a little while in saltier water (explanation for the fish found in the ocean), but they won't survive a long time. Not the period they'd survive in normal fresh water..
