Poorly Pleco ? | |
teapea Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 1 Registered: 07-Apr-2008 | im not sure but i think my pleco may be poorly the reason been that my oscar died about a week ago from a fungal type infection, (cloudy eyes, cotton wool like stuff around parts of body, he was quite old and i didnt know what was wrong till after he died) anyway im not sure if my plec is suffering the same problem, he seems to have lines of unusual colouration, i have posted some pictures on the following link http://web.mac.com/tom_parsons/Site/Photos.html thanks in advance for any help! |

The firts two should be 0 and nitrate should be below 20. If you dont have testkits take a jar of water to your lfs and get them to tell you the results. If nitrate is high do water changes to reduce it. What size tank do you have the plec in? Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |
