I'm not sure if he got nipped and it is healing or if this is a known problem? He had it two weeks ago and it went away. Now it is back again. Any ideas? |

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

It may be a reaction to higher nitrates and accumulated toxins. Try a 30% water change to see if the symptoms lessen. __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |

I have watched my convicts attempt to establish dominance in newsurroundings by locking lips and pulling. This also occurs every time I add a fish. The white marks usually goes away after a while as does the fighting. However, keep an eye on them and make sure the bouts do not persist. |

Fish will often get what you described from eating too many of them (the shell pieces cut their lips up). ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
