hi just wanted to know if you can eat snails. my grandad ate my beutiful orange and yellow sea snail

You can eat pretty much any aquatic creature that isn't poisonous, though I'd question why you'd want to... eww!?

I'm inclined to agree with Kelly... UGH!

To me, that would be like eating my cat or our dog... it's
a family pet! But, I guess it depends upon the country.
Heck Oscars and other fish get big enough to pan fry and
feed a family!

I keep freshwateer snails but would have no qualms eating their saltwater cousins CRAB LEGS would be my first choice though

Yeah in SA the natives are a hungry lot, usually live by the water so piranhas, peacock bass, oscars - all fair game, even discus
