Hi guys. I'm new here. I'm gonna be 13 in 2 weeks. I'm just starting out with fish. My current stock is kinda sad, my parents have froze my fish tank buying as it is: 5 gallon with 2 female Gambusia affins (one pregnant) and an unidentified cleaner Pond Snail and a 5.5 gallon with 5 Orange White Clouds and some kind of Trapdoor Snail. I hope to expand soon. I'm relatively new to fishkeeping but not to fish. And I'm from Brooklyn New York.
I meant to make my screenname "Bottomfeeder, but they make the R and the E and the D on the keyboard so darn close

hey bottomfeeder
Welcome to the site!

I'm sure your parents might come around and let you get some bigger tanks soon. Fishtanks are very educational after all !

Welcome to FP Bottomfeedeer
This is the correct place to start learning about fish keeping. Don't be afraid to ask questions we all had to learn, there is no such thing as a silly question. If you could fill in your Profile a little where you are would be a start.
Happy birthday in two weeks time wow 13 I can hardly remember that far back. I also have a birthday coming up just under 4 weeks 71yld.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

thanks for the welcome wagon guys! My parents used to set up my tanks when I was like 7 and I had Goldfish in a 5 gal (we even experimented with a Pangasius once, never listening to an LFS again) but i got so bent up when they died. so i stopped for a few years but my teacher got a snail in live pond culture for the science lab, ad that was incentive to start up again. i adopted him and im really into fishkeeping. i know my fish, ive loved em since i was, i think 2. i join lots of fish sites and even have a fish breeding video game. So basically I know alot about fish but just starting out in fishKEEPING.

welcome!

its nice to find some new members so eager and excited to expand their palate of fishkeeping taste and so eager to learn! I know being young might be a bit intimidating, but for me (17) its no problem!

Don't be a stanger and always ask for help (if its needed) or advice! there are so many intelligent and experienced minds that are eager to help at any and every opportunity!

Welcome to FP!
