If you get a file transfer from anyone on MSN called "naked party" or anything similar, don't accept it. It's a worm/virus. I don't have much info on it right now but I'll post more later.

Whetu!

Yup, I've gotten those kinds of things with FP names in em before. Might've gotten one from Whetu, Gomer, and Koi, I think.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

i think this might help.. i u can locate the file.. which should be in "my recieved files" ... restart your comp... keep pressing f5 until an option screen comes up... select safe mode.. locate the file and delete.. this should work.. if it does not.. run your virus scanners ad aware etc.. this should work!!

yeah that worked for me... I found files from it in other directories as well so make sure you give everything a good look, and remove any related files in safe mode as well.

It didn't show up on my antivirus scan, I use Sophos Antivirus on a site license here at my university and McAffee AV as well, so I had to go in and find the files on my own. I also ran adware removal programs and uninstalled msn messenger to be safe.

I'm surprised it got past my firewall, usually nothing makes it as the university network is constantly under lockdown. :%)

I have that stupid messenger thing popping up on my screen regually. It is a pest I refuse to use it. Even MS cannot remove it from my computer.

It has been suggested to me it is some how connected to Hot mail which I use on FP and that is the reason it cannot be removed.

I had an msn worm thing a few years back and I discovered that even if the person rejected the file transfer it went through. My antivirus eventually found it. Took a few days though.

People should not be so stupid as to accept files from random people anyway. Or even their friends with out knowing what it is.

MSN messenger isn't any good. =p

here's some more info I found:

I actually ended up with the worm, which Sophos AV recognized as W32/Rbot-TX. Update your virus definitions.

I had to remove the worm manually because my antivirus software couldn't do it.
