Not the best of locations but everyone has to start somewhere, i will be leasing the kitchen/restaurant that is situated inside a pub, and need to come up for names. It will be a small Bistro/Fine Dining eatery. All opinions are welcome! James |

"The Nook" Since it is inside the pub, and is something the pub is offering as an additional draw. Here in the states that would be simple traditional fare, hamburgers, chicken wings/legs, sometimes small steaks, shrimp, fries, baked potatoes, and deserts and the like. Or just "finger foods" easily prepared in bulk for something the folks can eat as they chug down the spirits and watch the games or a fight on the over sized TV's scattered around the place. It seems an oxymoron to have the words "pub" and "fine dining" in the same sentence. Things must be different over there. Good luck and have fun in your new endeavor. It has to be a short yet catchy name that is easy to remember. Does it overlook a land mark or does the pub a history background. It also has to be a friendly family name. Good luck and I hope I never see in on Ramsey's list. Eg Jamie Oliver uses "15" because that was the number of kids he took in the first time. Now that name is known world wide. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I like the idea of tanks in there, it'd be a neat thing if you had room, but I suppose that'd be up to whoever you're leasing from (plus take away room for paying peoples and we just know you're place will be packed ). You'd just have to lock the lids down so no one tried to get any of the critters drunk. ^_^ |
