What are you doing for New Years Eve & New Years Day | |
keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | We intend to spend it rather quietly as usual. Living bin a rather large coastal tourist town it can become rather hectic in some places. I will prepare a special dinner possibly Beef & Reef with French crepes to finish off with also naturally a good wine to with the meal. Next day is supposed to be a very hot day mid/high 30s C a good day to stay inside and keep cool. Any way all the best for the New Year have a safe and happy New years eve & New years day. As you can see the water is shallow, perfect for children and swimming also excellent boating with plenty of good fishing close by. Keith & Marg Our local Beach & small boat harbour Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? Callatya Moderator The girl's got crabs! Posts: 9662 Kudos: 5261 Registered: 16-Sep-2001 | I'm having a geek party. A small gathering of miscellaneous geeks are coming over for a BBQ, Top Gear marathon and board/card games (so far I think we are playing Munchkin, Carcassonne, EcoFluxx, Chez Geek, Lying for Lemons, Frank's Zoo and probably some version of Scrabble) I decided it was better to have NYE here to save trekking into the city and risking becoming adorned with someone's ex-dinner. New Year's Day will involve eggs and bacon and lots of water for the hung-over ones, and then sending the stragglers home once they are OK to drive. Geeks party hard |

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

It was quite sunny today, after a few rainy days. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

NYE - we went to our neighbors house for some snacks and what would have been cocktails if we weren't both working the overnight. It was a nice little gathering though and a great way to end 2007. The person I worked with that night is a friend of mine outside of work, so we made it fun. "it's the neck, it creaks under the weight of too much heavy thinking." |

With me it was water from the upstairs apartment leaking into my kitchen AND living room. Of course, 5 x people on the executive committee & property manager all away. Noone left their contact details. Ultimate irony. Unit with the dodgy pipes above mine is that of the chairman of the committee! Nice work. Took me 3 days to track him down. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |
