I did have it set as a photoshopped image I'd done up years ago using a panarama from the island my grandparents used to winter keep.....it was gone when I came into work this morning :%) so I've just set it as a pic that divebuddy sent me that I shot on his D-slr during our last camping trip.....wasnt even very interesting flower but I'll shoot them anyway :%). just beginning Moderator Literature Nerd Posts: 1879 Kudos: 1380 Votes: 198 Registered: 17-Dec-2000 | Ahhh, it wasn't even as bad as Adam said it would be - had me running down to the shops to buy dinner ingredients before it rained and everything! (though, I must admit, there was some pretty spectacular lightning over the city and later a gust of wind that blew everything around in my house before i shut the door and window - then lots of nice fat rain, but i'm definitely not complaining about that my grass is green again! ) The storm did take out my modem again though. Stopped working jsut the same as during the last storm. Hopefully my scientific method of unplugging and plugging back in will work again. My more recent desktop is a lovely example of photoshopping though, and looks stunning in 1280x1024, though I do quite like this one. Again though - you can see how badly my systray needs clearing up. Trouble is, can't delete any of those things, they're all necessary! tiny_clanger Fish Guru Posts: 2563 Kudos: 571 Votes: 12 Registered: 17-Sep-2002 | But hang on, i think pointless is a bit harsh. I am kinda interested Why is my desktop suddenly way more offensive than anyone elses? I'm not seeing any nakedness, any religion above and beyond what other people have posted, OK, it's not my pic and I dont own the copyright, but it's public domain, with permission to be used as a desktop. There's nothing illegal in my systray, none of you know who Jamie is, so having "meeting jamie" on my icons is no big deal. so anyway - what's wrong with it? /rant - there wasnt going to be one, but I think it's fair and appropriate to give me, if not Blonde an answer, via PM if necessary. Deleting the post as pointless just seems harsh, undiplomatic and tacky.
