Glass Cups | |
smackitsakic Fish Addict Posts: 620 Kudos: 1198 Votes: 18 Registered: 27-Jan-2004 | Anybody else in here use glass cups in their tanks? Over the last week i've put two in mine and the fish appear to love them. One of my parrot cichlids has "claimed" a wide mouth mason and won't let anybody else near it. They really do make the tank look good too! |

As long as it works for you and is inhabitants is the most important thing. My betta Paul lived in that tank before I moved him and he liked to hang out inside them, but not being the brightest betta around would forget he was inside and try to swim through the glass. That's what I'm afraid of when we're speaking of clear glass. I've had new fish get cought inside the reactor for my CO2, and every time I acclimate fish they always stress themselves out trying to swim thru the plastic.... ^_^ Current [link=Contest Rules]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Aquascaping/44382.html?200412022138" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] |
