I am probably going to buy some lavarocks with holes in them. I am thinking I could use my smaller terricata pots and put the lavarock in front of them and then other rocks around the pot so as to disguise them. Either way I want to make sure the pots and the rocks are ok to put in. I washed the river rocks from the yard with water, should i soak them in bleach or boiling water? If i can successfully get the pots in and diguised i can rid myself of the last "fake" thing in my tank |

I assume you have used fertilizers and pesticides on the garden and eliminating that stuff from those rocks will be a real problem. Same thing with the terra cotta pots, if they held plants at one time, they too were probably exposed to chemicals that would soak into the porus material that they are made of. New, unused pots, and rock that has not been exposed is probably the best idea. Frank ![]() -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |
