These are pictures of the 30G tank after a total overhaul, and the receipt of the 30G "Easy Care" Package from Arizona Gardens. I had more plants than I knew what to do with and even had to throw some away, simply no room in the tank for them. Week Two -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |

FRANK Moderator Posts: 5108 Kudos: 5263 Votes: 1690 Registered: 28-Dec-2002 | Hi Guys, I'll try resizing the pictures on the next "shoot" to make them clearer. There is a series of posts in the General Freshwater forum where I discussed the ordering process, what I got, and how much it cost me. Here is the list of plants that you see: I got: 6 - Japanese Ferns 2 - large bunches of Ambulia 15 - Dwarf Onion (15 sets of three each) 15 - Tall Sag 15 - Crypt Walkeri 4 - Java Fern 3 - Dwarf Lilly Plants 3 - Blood Stargrass 4 - bunches of Rotala Lardin 2 - bunches of Anacharis 2 - medium Ozelot Swords Since my wife had a Drs Apt that we had to leave for at 3, I sorta just "stuffed" them here and there in the tank with some semblence of order. When we got back, I took this picture. I think I'm going to allow the plants a few weeks to settle in, and then start to do something with the layout. It is the 3 Dwarf Lillies that are the striking plants in the middle of the tank. I just shoved the individual "ball" of each plant into the gravel, root side down, and within three weeks, these have gone from one or two roots and "A" sprout on each ball into these plants. As they send up a leaf toward the surface, I snip it off. This way I hope to maintian their present appearance. Frank -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |
