Acrylic mini bow cracking | |
sugabeatz Hobbyist Posts: 83 Kudos: 77 Votes: 3 Registered: 12-Mar-2004 | I have a 5 gallon mini bow with a betta in it. It sits on my desk. I noticed a crack in the acrylic on the front about 4 months ago. Then I just noticed about 3 more today. The tank is not moved. Nothing is hitting it. Has any else exprienced this with acrylic before? Is it going to end up leaking? Is there anything I can do to salvage it. They are on the bowed part almost in the middle. |

If your mini-bow was manufactured by All-Glass, let your lfs know about the problem and request the manufacturer's trouble number. All-Glass does a very nice job with customer complaints. __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |

So take care & keep an eye on it or better, remove the fish & water to another tank. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
