	Aquaclear 50
dharris Small Fry Posts: 8 Kudos: 10 Votes: 0 Registered: 23-Nov-2005	I have not received my filter yet, but I want to get my water ready for when it does arrive. How much space do i need from the tank and the wall for this to fit? My model is the 50.

I think mine's like 4 at the most, but be sure to leave room for stuff like access to it. Mine was originally by the wall on a cabinet, but right under a wall sconce and I couldn't access the filter at all, had to move it.

My AC 50 is snug to the wall and the tank is 3 3/4" thereabouts from the wall. So 4" will be plenty of space to take the filter out for cleaning and maintenance.
